In an urgent humanitarian effort aimed at alleviating the suffering of displaced families in the Gaza Strip amidst harsh weather conditions and the onset of winter, the association, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP/PAPP), completed a vital shelter project for those affected.
The initiative involved installing and replacing 91 dilapidated tents with new, safer ones in the Al-Amana camp located in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
The association noted that this project was an immediate response to repeated appeals for help from the camp's residents, who are enduring extremely difficult humanitarian conditions. The work was carried out in full coordination with the government operations room to ensure that aid reached those in need and provided them with shelter from the harsh weather.
This initiative aims to provide a more protective and warmer environment for the affected families, emphasizing the need for concerted local and international efforts to provide further support to the health and humanitarian sectors in Gaza to address the current challenges.
