SAFE holds a major workshop to empower youth

In a significant step to promote youth development and participation, SAFE in cooperation with the Palestinian Agricultural Relief Committees (PARC), organized a workshop aimed at empowering young people and developing their skills.

The session was skillfully led by Mr. Taysir Muhaysen, PARC's director in Gaza, who highlighted the pivotal role of youth in society and emphasized their high aspirations and potential to contribute effectively across various sectors. Muhaysen stated, "The essence of this initiative is to equip young people with essential skills and open up opportunities for them, enabling them to make a positive impact on comprehensive community development."

He stressed the crucial role of education and training in preparing young people to face the challenges of today's world and called for their active participation in community decision-making. During the workshop, particular attention was paid to the challenges facing young people, with Muhaysen providing an in-depth analysis of the factors that hinder and facilitate their empowerment. He offered valuable insights on harnessing the potential of education and training as effective tools to equip young people to meet the demands of the contemporary labor market. In his closing remarks, Muhaysin emphasized: "Our collective future depends on empowering our youth. We must redouble our efforts and strengthen cooperation to support their journey towards achieving their ambitions and building a better future for all."
