Accessibility at SAFE is a responsibility, not a charity. Adopted in October 2025, this policy commits the organization to systematically identifying and removing the physical, digital, procedural and attitudinal barriers that stand between staff with disabilities and full participation — from recruitment and onboarding through career development to emergency evacuation. It gives effect to Palestinian Disability Law No. 4 of 2000 and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and applies to every employee, volunteer and contractor at every SAFE office and field site.
