Gaza, Palestine – In a significant move to enhance youth development and engagement, the Gaza Society for Sustainable Agriculture and Saftey Environment – SAFE, in collaboration with the Palesinian Agricultural Relief Committees – PARC, recently organized a workshop geared towards empowering young individuals and honing their capabilities.

Mr. Tayseer Muhaisen, PARC’s Gaza manager, expertly directed the session. He put a spotlight on the indispensable role the youth play in society, emphasizing their vast aspirations and potential to significantly contribute across diverse sectors.

“The essence of this initiative is to fortify the youth with vital skills and open doors of opportunity, allowing them to leave a positive mark on comprehensive societal development,” Muhaisen remarked. He accentuated the pivotal role of education and training in equipping young individuals to navigate the intricacies of today’s world and championed their active participation in community-driven decisions.

Throughout the workshop, a special focus was given to the challenges that the youth encounter. Muhaisen presented an in-depth analysis of factors that both hinder and facilitate their empowerment. He shared insights on harnessing the potential of education and training as formidable tools for equipping them to meet the demands of the contemporary job market.

In his closing remarks, Muhaisen stressed, “Our collective future hinges on the empowerment of our youth. We must redouble our efforts, fostering stronger collaborations to support their journey in realizing their aspirations and carving out a brighter future for all.”
