SAFE Gaza

SAFE, in collaboration with the Holy Family Church and with the generous support of World Central Kitchen, has successfully completed the distribution of 1,000 fresh food parcels to vulnerable families in Gaza City. This critical initiative aimed to alleviate the impact of food insecurity on low-income households and improve access to fresh, nutritious produce in one of the most food-insecure regions in the world.

Each parcel contained a carefully selected variety of five essential fruits and vegetables, including tomatoes, potatoes, onions, apples, and oranges—providing families with vital ingredients to prepare healthy, balanced meals.

This initiative is part of our broader commitment to ensuring that the most vulnerable families have access to fresh, wholesome food that meets both nutritional needs and cultural preferences,” said a representative from SAFE. “Thanks to the strong partnership with the Holy Family Church and World Central Kitchen, we were able to reach 1,000 families with timely and meaningful assistance.

The distribution was conducted across multiple locations throughout Gaza City, in close coordination with local committees and volunteers to ensure transparency, safety, and efficiency. Priority was given to families facing severe economic hardship, including female-headed households, elderly individuals, and persons with disabilities.

This intervention comes at a time when Gaza continues to experience a deteriorating humanitarian situation—marked by rising food prices, disrupted supply chains, and widespread poverty. By delivering immediate support in the form of fresh produce, the project not only addressed urgent nutritional needs but also contributed to broader efforts to uphold dignity, promote health, and strengthen community resilience.
